For those who
crave for knowledge, they can learn a lot of new things from the free searching
engine. Now that people can send and
reply emails anywhere anytime via a smart phone. Moreover, people can even see and talk with
each other on Skype and other similar platforms.
Talking about these
cyber things, I am a newbie in this platform.
I still do not understand most of the functions, in fact I feel rather frustrated
as I am lost in trying this and that but in vain to do what I wanna do. I am afraid I have to admit that I am a
slower learner.
Most of my
friends are very into Facebook, however, Facebook is not my cup of tea. I prefer blogging for a reason I do not
really know. Perhaps here in Blogger, I
can write more freely, deeply, sentimentally when something hits my feelings,
when I feel emotional, when I want to save my memory for the future me to
ponder upon.
Right at this
moment, I wonder what if the clock goes backwards for 20 years. What if there
is no internet? What would we do if we were
20 years younger? Would we choose
another path for the journey that we have walked through?!
Ah, Interesting!
I always think about things like, someday, when resources of this earth are eventually exhausted, how people are going to live and how "suffocating" this world will become and so on. It's scary, "going back" is indeed scary. Of course, we won't live to see it.
ReplyDeleteThere are indeed too many "what if" questions. One day when this world is running out of resources, I can say it will be the end of the world. So, while we can breathe fresh air and enjoy four seasons a year, we should consider ourselves the blessed ones.
DeleteIt is a certainty that we have never got known of each other.
ReplyDeleteYes, the internet can make people know each other through the air, yet it also depends on fate. :)
DeletePeople said the same about the telephone...
ReplyDeleteThanks to all scientists, innovation indeed brings us a better life.
DeleteRemember the days when duplication of documents was done by stenciling, that correction of typos was done with white paints, that messages were transmitted by telex, that mobile phone was as big as a dumbbell, that making an international call required second thought because of the high cost...and the list is endless if you stretch your memory far enough.
ReplyDeleteDon't look back. Life is a bandwagon. Just jump on board and enjoy every novelty that comes by. Life is not movie making which allows second or nth takes. There is no "ifs" in real life. "Ifs" are only for those who choose to regret.
Enjoy!
Yes, I remember clearly those things which you mentioned. As technology evolves, it brings substantial change to our daily life. The once very popular and prestigious Motorola phone was replaced by the new smart phones completely but yet, some fans still regard it has an special value and collect those old phones. I agree that there is no what if in life because there is no "take 2", so let's enjoy our journey every day.
DeleteI noticed that your reply box requires the input of verification code. This is a nuisance to respondents. I would suggest that your disable this function for the convenience of your visitors. This is the way to do it:
ReplyDelete消除驗證碼
去首頁右上角 按"設定", 選"文章和留言", 在"顯示字詞驗證"處 → 設成: "否"!
記住回到 右上方按→ "儲存設定" (任何變改都要"儲存設定")
Hey Thank you, I undo the verification code as advised. I hope I am successful in this setting and you people can leave message to me easier.
